About Camel Creek Adventure Park

Camel Creek Adventure Park is vibrant and welcoming visitor destination in Cornwall offering all year-round adventures. The park is an all-weather family attraction and famous for delivering great experiences for the whole family.

Formerly known as Cornwall’s Crealy or the Shire Horse Centre, the Park first opened to the public in 1989 as the Shire Horse Centre but was later sold in 2004 and re-named Crealy Great Adventure Park. John Broome CBE, founder of Alton Towers, purchased the park in 2015 and re branded it to our new name Camel Creek Adventure Park. Since the park was purchased in 2015 many new rides and attractions have been added including Cornwall’s only 5D Simulator.

Alongside Camel Creek Adventure Park, we are planning to create Camel Creek Resort. This will be the UK’s leading luxury holiday destination, set in an exquisite private valley. With local towns and villages just a stone's throw away, this will be the perfect destination for both exploring and relaxing by the coast. The Resort will set a new standard within the UK, incorporating lake-side villas, the world’s most magical tree house village and a sensational tropical pool complex under a living eco-roof!
