Discover the former home of the Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, visit the regimental cells and impressive armoury stocked with historic weaponry. Discover objects spanning over 300 years of Cornish military life - from the Cornwall Militia and Volunteers, the ‘famous regiment’ The Duke of Cornwall’s Light Infantry, and the The Light Infantry. Highlights of the museum’s collections include the Harry Patch display, the impressive armoury of historic weaponry, stained glass windows, as well as some memorable and quirky objects…

All visitors can expect a warm welcome at Bodmin Keep – as well as the impressive collections, you’ll find family friendly activities including military dress up, bugle playing and arts and crafts. Explore the Cold War-era Regimental cells, and march up the stone staircases in the footsteps of the soldiers of days gone by.  The museum is open 7 days a week during school holidays, and holds various special events throughout the year – visit the museum’s website for full details.
