Dingles Heritage Centre is home to the National Fairground Collection, the largest and most important display of figurative commercial art work in the country.
From 19th century side show banners to the cartoon characters of the 1950s.
Popeye and Muffin the Mule rub shoulders with Top Cat, Flo & Andy Capp.
Play Bingo and penny slots, as you marvel at carved and gilded show fronts and gallery of fairground art.
The vintage working fairground has the largest Dodgem track in the country, with a fleet of retro Italian cars from the 70s. The music is from this era as well. The magnificent art work on the front of this splendid structure was painted during the early 1950s, by the fairground artist Fred Fowle.
The more adventurous or young at heart can ride our latest addition, The Moonrocket - thrill ride of the 1930s.
The Ghost Train takes you through a darkened maze of hidden spooks. We dare you not to come out smiling!
For those who prefer their thrills a little more sedate, ride the golden gallopers, built in 1920. Suitable for all ages.
The Super Chariot Racer, allows you to hurtle around on a Motorbike.
Around the perimeter are the games of the old time fair, Coconut Shy, Rifle Range, and Plate Smasher.
