About The Castle, Bude

The Castle
Formerly the home of Victorian inventor Sir Goldsworthy Gurney, The Castle is now a heritage centre, art gallery, café with conservatory and outdoor seating, gift shop and wedding venue.
The Heritage Centre is the ideal place to come to find out about Bude and the surrounding area before setting out to explore the town, canal wharf, beaches and to take lovely cliff walks.
Cafe Limelight opened in 2014 and offers locally roasted coffee, Cornish tea, light lunches and locally made cakes all served with stunning views of the coast.
Entry to the Castle is free.
